HP Laserjet Pro MFP M180n always print 3 copies

When I connected this printer (Laserjet Pro MFP M180n) to my PC, either via bluetooth or cables, it always prints 3 copies, even for the test pages. I selected 1 copy on the PC, and I can also print 1 copy using mobile devices. But while connecting to PCs (I connected to 2 different PCs and faced the same issue), it always print 3 copies. Please help.

Please open a browser on your computer, enter the printer IP in the address bar, and press enter.

The number of printed copies in the print tab, thank you.

I copied the IP address to a browser, but when I hit enter, the browser direct this IP to a search engine. I cannot see any printer number of copy information.

Also, when I use my mobile device to print, for example, my iPhone, it prints only 1 copy. The 3 copies problem only occurs when I linked with PC. I tried from 2 different PCs, and I faced the same problem.

Hello

You can test it by installing the HP color laserjet 2700 driver replacement that comes with the system.

Method:

Open the device and printer on the computer - Add printer - The printer I need is not listed - Manually add - Select the correct port - Next - Manufacturer select HP - Model select HP color laserjet 2700- Next - Install until complete.

Then use HP color laserjet 2700 to test printing, thank you.

Thanks for your reply.

But I did try to install ColorLaserJet 2700 Classic Driver. The result was the same. The machine printed 3 copies of test sheet.

The port I am using is a USB001 port. Is that a problem? Using my cell phone via the Wifi to print is ok. But using either Wifi or cable via USB001 port from the computer is always printing 3 copies.

to troubleshoot the driver issue, please try resetting the printer, reconfiguring the network, and retesting printing.

Reset method:

1. Machine shutdown

2. Press and hold the down button and cancel button, then press the power switch to turn on the device

3. Wait for the triangle exclamation mark light to flash, release, and wait for the machine self check to end.
