HP Smart Tank 615 cannot scan to PC

Hi I just brought a HP Smart Tank 615. Everything works except it cannot scan to computer.

When I press the scan button on touch screen, it asks me to download the app from hp website, then in the app select "print, scan & fax" > "scan actions" > "Manage scan to computer". But the problem is there is NO above options in the app.

In the app, I found there is a scan to computer setting, it says "You cannot use this function because it has been disabled. For more information, contact the person who set up the printer."

Can anybody help? Thanks much.

Is the full version of the driver installed on the computer?

Is the computer scanning normal?

Hi thank you for reply.

I searched the corresponding app on HP website and dowloaded the HP Smart app. There was no other drivers available for download.

I can scan documents from printer to pc but only thru the HP Smart app, but cannot directly thru the printer.

Hello!

You can try to open a browser on the computer, enter the printer IP in the address bar, and press enter.

Look for options:

Settings - Security - administrator settings - printer settings - check the box before scanning, scanning from computer or mobile device, and scanning web pages from EWS - application.

And for the browser, do you just mean a folder browser?
