Disable and Skip Printing Function

Hi,

My InkJet printer HP PhotoSmart 5520 got something wrong during startup, and cannot proceed to startup.  How could I skip this error, and let the printer works for other function, e.g., Scan?  Thanks.

please reinstall the ink cartridge first and check if there is any paper jam or foreign object inside the printer.

Hi, thanks for your advise.

For reinstalling the ink cartridge, do you mean to reinstall the new ink cartridge?  If so, as all of the ink cartridges are almost empty, might I only reinstall the Black ink cartridge first, as to save some costs?  Thanks.

Hi, after replacing the new Black Ink Cartridge, the same problem still occurred.  I have checked and there is no objects in the printer, or along the path.  Any other help?  Thanks.
