zbook fury 15.6 inch G8 硬盘支持PCI-e 4.0？

我估计欢哥应该不会成功，我这两天也在琢磨上SSD，原配是EX900 1T。

虽然楼上几位专业提供了PDF，但我的理解是这样：

1、对于WM590来说，只原生支持PCIe NVMe Gen3界面，不支持Gen4界面，除非HP自己桥接了Gen4芯片。

2、对于PDF提到的有几款超过7000m/ms的硬盘，我的理解是那是支持列表，证明G8主板可以使用Gen4.0界面的硬盘，但速度仍然是受Gen3.0限制的，也就是3500m/ms。

3、所以对G8来说，其主板可以兼容3.0和4.0的硬盘，但无论是硬盘本身的规格是多少，他只能发挥3.0的效能，所以没太必要纠结高速硬盘，只要速度达到3500m/ms以上就行了，再快就是浪费。

不知道上述理解正不正确？也请HP的专家出来确认一下。

我是2021年10月买的15 fury G8，平时不逛这里所以现在才发上来。

keyboard下面980Pro 1T 实测出来是 3.0的速度，无法上到4.0速度. 

也就是说可以支持4.0但还是3.0速度

这一点感觉HP有点误导消费者！哪个4.0ssd 不能向下兼容3.0主板？ 我就是奔着看到支持4.0买的三星980pro。手册说清楚读写只能3.0我就买 970的 ssd了，当时这两SSD差价一两百美金了！

The read and write speeds correspond to the PCIe 4.0 speeds that Samsung prescribes.
