However, after restarting the computer and running the WJA installer again, the same message appears and the installation is aborted again. During the initial installation process, the InstallShield checks to verify if a machine restart is needed by the operating system, and if so, the InstallShield prompts for the restart and halts the WJA installation process. This issue is caused by a Windows Registry entry that is not being removed by the Windows operating system as it should be after a machine restart. Solution Perform the following steps on the WJA server: Edit the Windows Registry using the following steps:   警告：  Using the Registry Editor incorrectly may cause symptoms requiring a reinstallation of the Windows operating system. HP Inc. is not responsible for issues, which may result from incorrect use of the Registry Editor. Go to Start, click Run. Type "regedit" (without the quotes) and click the OK button. Locate the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager As a precautionary step, back up the key as follows: Right-click the mouse on the Session Manager key. From the popup menu, select the Export option. In the Export Registry File window, enter a file name and select the location where the export file will be saved to. Click the Save button. Locate the PendingFileRenameOperations entry under the Session Manager key and either delete it or rename it as follows: Delete the Entry: Right-click the PendingFileRenameOperations entry. From the popup menu, click the Delete option. Click Yes when prompted to confirm the delete. Rename the Entry: Right-click the PendingFileRenameOperations entry. From the popup menu, click the Rename option. Rename the entry to PendingFileRenameOperationsOld or another name of the user's choosing. Exit the Windows Registry Editor.
