Printer cannot recognise ink cartridge

Using HP printers over 10 yrs. Current model Officejet 4630. Recently replaced black ink 61XL (Mayasia product) but printer said it's not compatible. Would it be fake product, or the printer's fault? I am a senior of 80+

Can you help me?

yes sir， the supply of some printer maybe have different models in different regions, so HP recommended that you should purchase through the local supply store.
