Defective HP laptop received from HP online store

Hello,
I ordered a laptop pc(notebook) from HP online store and got it delivered by this week(Wednesday - 06-DEC-17).
The mouse pad is making sound when tapped and battery seems to be bad in terms of battery backup.
I am seeking help to get a replacement for the laptop. Is there a way to replace online ?
Tried weChat and hotline numbers, all are in chinese. Can I get a replacement if I take the laptop to the service center in Shanghai minhang district.
I live in shanghai minhang, qibao but i dont speak chinese.
Please help !!!!!!
